These internal filters offer comprehensive, effective filtration. Each filter includes 3 large foams, a heater chamber, sintered glass Biomedia and a pump.Water passes first through the heater chamber. This is designed to except all popular heaters. The water then passes through a coarse foam. a medium foam, and finally the carbon foam. All of which are in an easy to remove carrier. An optional fine foam is available for polishing the water. The clean water then passes through the high surface area Biomedia and into the pump. The outlet of the pump has a venturi attachment for aeration. Suitable for fresh and saltwater. 1 Year Guarantee.
